第7回日本-台湾放射線腫瘍学シンポジウムのご案内

来る2019年5月11日（土）、第7回日本-台湾放射線腫瘍学シンポジウムが開催いたします。
今回のテーマは「百花繚乱」であり、学術研究において優れた業績が多数現れる事、ひいては研究成果が活発である事を表しています。
本シンポジウムは東京お台場の日本科学未来館で開催され、7年前に行われた第1回から着実に築き上げてきた日本と台湾の更なる友好関係及び両国の放射線治療の相互理解と協力が、より一層に深められれば幸甚です。
演題募集は、1月～3月8日（金）までとなっております。

It is my privilege and great pleasure to invite you to the 7th Japan-Taiwan Radiation Oncology Symposium that will take place on May 11, 2019 in Odaiba, Tokyo.

　This symposium is supported by the Japanese Society for Radiation Oncology (JASTRO) and the Taiwan Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (TASTRO), and aims to enhance the scientific exchange on radiation oncology between Japan and Taiwan. I am especially grateful to all of our guests, especially those from Taiwan.

　Odaiba is one of the very beautiful bay-area sites very near metropolitan Tokyo. We can expect to have fruitful and rewarding discussions during this symposium.

　The main theme of this conference is “百花繚乱”. This term means “many flowers blooming in profusion”, but in another sense it means “simultaneous emergence of many talents and achievements” which is now being achieved in the radiation oncology field.

　May is the best season for visiting Japan. Many friends from Taiwan will be able to enjoy beautiful blooming flowers and sightseeing at Tokyo, Yokohama and also at Tokyo Disney Land before and after the symposium.

　I believe this symposium will be a resounding success, and that it will strengthen the mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and Taiwan.

テーマ: 百花繚乱

「百花繚乱」という言葉は、多くの美しい花々が咲き乱れている状態を表しますが、転じて才能や成果が同時に出現する様子を意味します。 学術研究においては、優れた業績がたくさん現れること、ひいては研究成果が活発であることを表します。
